Basic Checkerboard with Plain Checkers
Our Basic Checker Set includes our basic checker board and 24 plain wooden checkers. The checker board is crafted from 0.5" thick high quality birch plywood and measures 14.75" square. Printed playing area is sealed with clear non-toxic finish. 12 black and 12 red checkers measure approximately 1.5" diameter by 0.375" thick. Both basic red and black checkers are engraved with a crown on one side so instead of stacking the checkers to "king" a player simply flip the checker over. A cloth pouch for storing the checkers is included.
