Middlebury, VT—Children know Maple Landmark products are fun but parents know Maple Landmark products are safe and the introduction of the Schoolhouse Naturals line reinforces the confidence in both.
The Schoolhouse Natural™ products are divided between infants and toddlers. For the infants three styles of rattles—the disk, oval bead, and oval bell are available. The rattles are crafted from hardwoods-harvested responsibly. The disk rattle is about 1-1/2" in diameter and about 3" high. The rattle has 5 free-floating disks for hours of exploration. The Oval Bead and Bell Rattles are about 2-1/2" across and 1-1/2" wide and stands 2-3/4" high. The Bead Rattle has six beads are independent from one another and are free floating along the carrying rod. The Bell Rattle has a silver bell that jingles easily in the center. Each rattle is hand assembled and checked for durability. The three rattles are available in both unfinished or a whey finish.
Infants and toddlers will also love the natural ABC Block Set. This set of 16 hardwood maple blocks has enough repetition of letters so over 350 words can be spelled. As each letter appears on the block the background also reflects that letter. For example, A has a background of apples and Z has a background of zoo animals. The designs are laser etched giving each block in incredible detail. Each block measures 1-3/4" cube and will be treasured for generations.
Copied from the most popular painted Scoots, the Schoolhouse Natural Scoots are available in School Bus, Fire Truck, and Race Car designs. Each design is crafted from sustainably harvested rock maple with laser engraved details. The wheels are free rolling and attached with Elmers™ glue. The Schoolhouse Natural Scoots are sanded smooth to the touch—no need for any finishes. The school bus and fire truck measures 2" tall, 4" long and a durable 1-1/8" wide. The race car measures 1-1/2" tall, 4" long and 1-1/8" wide. Suitable for ages 3 and up.
From crawling to running, the Schoolhouse Natural Push N Pulls—available in bunny, truck and elephant shapes, will be a fun childhood favorite. As the child crawls, the handle on the back allows the child to grab on and push the vehicle wherever they are crawling to. When the child becomes a walker, mom or dad can thread a string through the hole in the front and the favorite crawling toy becomes the favorite pull toy. All the shapes are carefully crafted from locally harvested hard maple with laser etched details. The large (1" in diameter), easy rolling wheels are attached on each end of a durable axle. The Push N Pulls are paint free. The elephant measures 6" long, 6" high and about 1" wide. The bunny measures about 7-1/2" long, 5" high and 1" wide. At 7" long, 6" high and 1" wide the delivery truck can take hard play.
Finally, toddlers can learn shapes with the Shaper Sorter Bench. Measuring 4" high, 4" wide and 6-3/4" long, the bench comes with 3 shapes each of circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. The bench and the shapes are fashioned from rock maple. The shape name is lasered on the top to help the toddlers associate and learn the words for each of the shapes. The Bench also comes with a pouch to store the pieces in when not in use.
"We are proud of our new products," states Mike Rainville, owner, "we wanted to offer consumers a real choice. Our mainstay products—NameTrains and Montgomery Schoolhouse products are just as safe as the Schoolhouse Naturals but our customers don't have to take our word for it, the choice is theirs to make."
