Middlebury, VT—Maple Landmark, the makers of the NameTrain and Montgomery Schoolhouse line of toys have added specialty wooden puzzles to their product line. "We have been asked for puzzles for years but we had to be sure that what we developed was us," stated Mike Rainville, Owner of Maple Landmark.
The new puzzle line includes 5 standard puzzles depicting "typical" Maple Landmark scenes. A Countryside Railroad with the NameTrains; a Montgomery Schoolhouse School Bus in a rural setting; a MY Train Engine rolling through by the New Haven Junction Station; a Frosty Sno-Cone Scoot in a winter scene; and a Noah's Ark with NameTrain animals with a vibrant rainbow are the start of what is hoped to be a growing line of product offerings.
Each puzzle is precisely cut from 1/4" birch plywood and finished with a durable printed image. The puzzles sit into a natural, 8" X 10" frame and are 20 pieces each. Wholesale cost of each puzzle is $9.25 and is sold individually. These puzzles even won the Maple Landmark Employees' Choice Award for 2007.
But what makes these truly puzzles perfect is their ability to be customized to feature any image a retailer or customer might want. Whether it be a vintage image or a landmark in their region the Maple Landmark puzzles can be easily customized with low minimums and reasonable set-up fees.
Each image is matched with a specific process to get the best results. For the vintage look puzzle, the image is painted directly on the wood so the natural feel of the material is not lost or hidden. With other novelty images, the image is painted on an appropriate colored medium to get the best results in color and feel.
