Middlebury, VT—Whether your name is Caitlyn or Katelyn, Maple Landmark's NameTrain™ letters have even more "girl" appeal. Like the original NameTrains™ any name can be spelled no matter the length or the spelling variation, but the new pastel colored letters allows the girls to truly call the NameTrains™ their own.
Still crafted in Vermont from hardwood maple, each of the pastel NameTrain™ letters come 6 colors—lemon yellow, peach, pink, baby blue, lilac, and sea foam green. The locomotive engine is gray with a natural smokestack and the caboose is pink. The color finish is a non-toxic durable lacquer. The pastel NameTrains™ measure about 2-1/2" high and 2-1/2" long and like the original NameTrains,™ they are compatible with other wooden track systems. Designed for children 3 and Up. The new pastel trains fall into the same price range as the originals.
"We have heard from customers—'girls don't play with trains'—so we have made it irresistible for girls," comments Mike Rainville, owner of Maple Landmark. "These trains offer all of the open-ended, creative fun and play of the original trains but we feel that they will have a stronger appeal to wanna-be engineer girls—or at least to the consumers that make purchases for girls."
